Having picked up a violin for the first time, I, a little boy born in the very center of Siberia, could not imagine that I would become a travelling musician.

But that is what happened. I received a classical music education in one of the best string schools in the world, studying the violin and viola. I moved to Hungary, where I worked in symphony orchestras and for 25 years toured half the planet with concerts, from the west coast of the US to Indonesia, including China, Japan and all of Europe.

And here I am now, in Canada. On the other side of the globe.

We moved to Toronto three years ago with my wife, who works as a ballet pianist. I am continuing my career as an orchestral musician and teach music privately, eager to explore the musical opportunities this vibrant city offers.
